The SEcoTeam axis (Lead: A. Vialatte) deals with ecosystem services provided by biodiversity in agroforestry landscapes. It is a very interdisciplinary axis, including social geographers, ecologists and zootechnicians. Following two successive departures, this last discipline no longer exists in Dynafor today. This axis has mainly focused on the agricultural and pastoral components of agri-forestry landscapes in the Valleys and Coteaux de Gascogne (VCG), the Pyrenees and the Cévennes. Its objectives are to develop interdisciplinary projects and articles around agroecology of agroforestry landscapes and to develop political ecology approaches on the concept of ecosystem services.

Conceptual framework for an integrative approach to the management of agroforestry landscapes using the concept of ecosystem services (ES) and disservices (EDS; 44- Vialatte et al. 2019). The landscape is made up of ecological and social components, all interacting with each other, as well as with the components of higher organizational levels. Institutions influence social components and management practices, and thus the structure of the landscape and its dynamics, which modifies the resources available for the ecological components that underlie the associated levels of SE and EDS.
