The European Landscape Ecology Congress >>> was held from September 2 to 5 in Bratislava, Slovakia, with over 420 participants.
The diversity of presentations offered in the multiple sessions testifies to the dynamism of landscape ecology in Europe. It was also a kind of homecoming since the idea of forming an International Association of Landscape Ecology (IALE) was born in Bratislava in 1967 (see the brochure on the history of landscape ecology in Slovakia >>>).
The French chapter of IALE (IALE-France >>> ) was well represented with nearly fifteen participants of French origin who presented numerous works and led several sessions. It presented a poster on research issues in landscape ecology in France ( >>> ).
Dynafor was also present, with 2 presentations:
Marc Deconchat, Catherine Bonnet, Émilie Andrieu, Adèle Vantorhoudt, Amandine Durpoix, et al.. Comparing hedgerows and forest margins for their sustainable management. European landscape ecology congress , Sep 2025, Bratislava (Slovakia), Slovakia. 9p. ⟨hal-05266467⟩
Jeremy Cours, Clélia Sirami, Romain Carrié, Rémi Duflot, Using functional ecology tools to assess landscape habitat heterogeneity. European landscape ecology congress , Sep 2025, Bratislava (Slovakia), Slovakia
Two former Dynafor post-docs were also present (Rémi Duflot and Julien Blanco), as well as a former intern now working on his thesis (Jean-Baptiste Boissonnat).
Jérôme and Wilfried have passed the theoretical certificate and are now trained to fly drones, as shown in the pictures! They will now be able to fly Dynafor's drones for various remote sensing projects

Last field session for the PASTSERV project on the evolution of landscapes and ecosystem services in the Bassies valley. Not always easy to find the tea bags and stones we buried a year ago... but the atmosphere is still great at the Refuge de Bassies with GEODE, LETG and AMAP
